Have you recently received the “listing removed” status on Amazon SKU’s? If so, you’re not alone. We’ve noticed this with a handful of our clients within the past few weeks. At first it was a head-scratcher, even for seller support (not too much surprise there). However, after a few calls we figured out it was directly related to having “FDA” in the detail page copy.
When first encountering this, Seller Central directs you to click on “Fix Issue”, which takes you to the “Complete Drafts” page. This can be confusing because the SKU won’t always appear in the complete drafts section.
The solution? Simply bypass “Fix Issue” by clicking the drop down arrow and clicking on “Edit”, then remove “FDA” anywhere it might appear on the listing. That’sit. Once you save the update it should be live within 5-10 minutes.
As I’m sure we’re all aware by now, not everything is straight forward with Amazon. So there have been cases where I’ve had to call Seller Support and tinker with a listing to get it straightened out. If you find yourself needing to call them for help, I’ve had more luck reaching captive support by calling after 11AM E.T. lately. They seem to still be backed up over there so it has sometimes been a challenge to get ahold of someone that can help.
As always, feel free to reach out anytime if you have questions. Happy selling.
